CRAFTSMANSHIP
Our Mara Bags are produced in small batches in Los Angeles using premium leather and carefully considered materials. The signature lacquered brass handle is artisan-made in Kenya, celebrating traditional metalworking techniques and creating a piece that feels both modern and storied.
STYLING NOTE FROM NATALIE
Mara was designed to elevate simple outfits — think denim and a tee, tailored trousers, or a minimalist dress. The combination of black leather, chocolate suede, and warm brass makes it endlessly versatile.
Our brass hardware is lacquered for protection. Over time, flaking or peeling may occur with use. We recommend the following to ensure your hardware continues to age and wear beautifully:
- Avoid scratching or rubbing the surface
- Keep away from water, excessive humidity, perfumes, oils, and chemicals
- Clean only with a soft, dry cloth
- Do not use metal polish or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the lacquer.
- Store in a cool dry place and use a dust bag when not in use.
We offer complimentary domestic shipping on most orders. International shipping is also now available to Canada, UK and Australia.
Once you place your order, you will receive a tracking number with your order and can follow it every step of the way. You may also purchase added package insurance to reduce risk of lost packages (highly recommended)
We ship your order within 48 hours from our Solana Beach, California studio and offer express shipping upgrades at checkout if you need your item to arrive quicker.
We offer complimentary exchanges and in-store returns within 30 days. When returning by mail, please note that a $9 shipping and handling fee will be deducted from all mailed returns.
Please note: Items marked FINAL SALE are not eligible for return or exchange.
To qualify for a refund, items must be unused, in original condition, and returned with all original packaging. (No need to reuse the shipping mailer — feel free to use any packaging you have on hand.)
