OUR MATERIALS
14K Gold
14K gold is durable and long lasting. It stands the test of time, will not tarnish or chip and you can wear it all the time (shower, swimming, etc). Our gold is conflict-free and sourced ethically and sustainably, and often made with recycled materials. Our gold suppliers are certified members of the Responsible Jewelry Council, an international body, headquartered in London, that certifies fine jewelry product manufacturers and suppliers for responsible ethical, social, and environmental practices throughout their operations. Certification and membership requires an independent third party audit covering all aspects of operations, from our supply chain and production to business ethics and employee health and safety.
OUR MATERIALS
Brass
Brass is a metal alloy of copper and zinc and a great eco-friendly jewelry option, as it can be recycled infinitely without compromising its quality. Today almost 90% of all brass in the world is recycled—our artisan team in Kenya uses materials acquired from local markets and vendors to create many of our designs. Brass does develop a patina over time with wear, but can always be brought back to life with polishing, making it a significantly more sustainable choice than gold-plated jewelry. Brass is both affordable, and heirloom quality, ensuring it will be yours to cherish for many years to come.
OUR MATERIALS

OUR MATERIALS
925 Sterling Silver
Sterling silver (or 925 silver) is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper, enhancing its durability and strength. It boasts a bright, shiny appearance and can be easily shaped into intricate designs. While silver mining has environmental impacts, the high recyclability of sterling silver and the rise of ethically sourced silver improve its sustainability. Sterling silver items can last a lifetime with proper care, though they may tarnish over time, which is easily remedied with polishing. Its durability, combined with the ability to repair and recycle, makes sterling silver a sustainable and long-lasting jewelry choice.
